Peter Sagan makes it two in a row!
Yet again overcoming punctures, spills and mechanical issues to take the sprint. Poor old Heinrich, has to be happy with another second place.
Stage 2 Preview
Stage 2 of the Tour of California took the riders south, out of the amazing city of San Francisco and along the stunningly scenic Highway 1. Hugging the coast until turning left and up the grueling Bonnydoon Road. I’ve spent a fair bit of time in the Santa Cruz area and can definitely confirm that the climbs around there are real stinkers!
